Zachary Flynn
Founder & Co-Owner
Zachary began dutifully serving clients as an insurance broker more than four years ago before deciding to found You Matter Insurance & Financial Group, a full service Life, Medicare, & Annuities Insurance Brokerage in July of 2019 with the goal of helping make quality, affordable, individually tailored insurance products easy to understand and accessible to everyone. Zachary is a Retired Veteran, having honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 2007-2010, including one deployment to Iraq. Zachary attended the University of Wyoming for Accounting thereafter, served as a Legislative Intern for three years, and has been an active member of the communities of Wyoming, Florida & Maine with over 1,000 hours of community & governmental service. Zachary lives in and runs our East Coast Division servicing clients in Florida and Maine with his partner Shelby.
Reece Packard
Co-Owner
Reece Packard is the Co-Owner of You Matter Insurance & Financial Group and runs our Mountain West Division, servicing clients in Utah and Wyoming. After spending a few years in the industry, Reece felt that clients were being underserved and oversold. He wanted to bring a more balanced and educational approach to ensure each client receives the best plans and prices possible for their unique needs and situations. Reece grew up in Evanston, Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2013 where he learned the value of honesty, hard work and continually educating himself on all aspects of his career. In his free time, Reece enjoys hiking, kayaking, skiing, and golfing with his wife Kristen and their dog Breck.
Shelby Jade
Business Manager & Broker
Shelby has been actively assisting families with life insurance, for the past few years as an active insurance broker and as the Business Manager for You Matter Insurance & Financial Group. Shelby is a very warm, welcoming woman, who always puts clients first and is more than happy to assist them with any issues, concerns, questions, or needs that may arise. Shelby also has nine years of experience in the Medical Field as a Certified Medical Technician & Doctors Assistant, as well as three years of experience as a Personal Trainer. Her previous experience in the medical field gives her unique insight in helping our clients find and obtain coverages they are qualified for with ease. She is originally from Nebraska, but now calls the beautiful state of Florida home with her partner Zachary and is a loving mother of two little girls ages 9 & 5.
